Testimonials

Let's be proud of what we do in social care, let's share the good things that happen and let's remind people to Believe in Good Care.

To the staff at Cheriton - thank you so much for everything you have done for me whilst I have been on work placement.  You have made my time here very enjoyable and I have loved getting to know the residents and being able to spend time with them. I'm going to miss not coming here on a Tuesday, but I'll come back and see you all soon.

Thank you very much for your help in enabling mum to stay at Naseby.  She thinks of Naseby as home and I couldn’t bear the thought of having to move her when she is so happy and content.

To all you lovely carers - thank you for being kind and caring to R.  He was happy in your care.

She described the care as incredible and that the home was always spotless and well managed whenever she visited.

Just a few words to say a huge 'thank you'  for all the care, attention and kindness you gave to D. Also, the consideration and friendliness you showed to C, myself and M.  We thought D's palliative care was exceptional. Everybody took such care to make him feel comfortable, peaceful and free from any sores.  The thought and attention given to detail was much appreciated.  Also, the patience shown and encouragement given to D to pursuade him to eat and drink.  All of D's visitors thought the home and care given to all the residents was wonderful  and the best they'd seen anywhere else.  Once again, a big 'thank you' to you all.  We think you're a very dedicated team.  Also, thank you all for your support whilst we were all going through a very difficult and emotional time.  Our very best wishes and kind regards to you all.

Thank you all for your kind words, cards and gifts.

Thank you for everything that you did to make D's time with you safe and secure.  She always said how well she was cared for

Thank you so much for choosing R to come into your care.  He was happy.  Will keep in touch.  You have all been so sweet and kind.

Everything was excellent. Every time I phoned for an update on mum, all staff I spoke to had time to speak to me and that meant I had a holiday knowing that not only was mum receiving wondeful care, she was enjoying her holiday too.  Badbury seems to be an excellent home, very smoothly run by the care home manager and his team. Mum and I both really appreciated the flowers and card in her room on arrival and the introductions to the staff.  Mum also teasures the card signed by everyone given to her at the end of her stay.  She is looking forward to another respite stay at Badbury if possible.  Thank you

Thank you so much for looking after my mother so well - she loves you.  She is in a better place now.  Sam was very kind to her.  It was very kind of you to offer to have the wake at Blenheim.

Thank you all for your help and support and help with R.

Thanks for everything you do - it means so much to me.

I wanted to specifically write to you today to tell you how grateful I was to the home which looked after a close friend who was resident at Blenheim for 4 years.  The level of sincere love and devotion that she received was second to none.  I sincerely want to thank all the team at Blenheim but special mentions must go to  Denise, Kayleigh, Sam, Steph, Sharon, Charlene, Maria, Avitia, Filo and Wendy who I know were her main carers.  It is especially nice that these members of staff have been on the team for so long.  There is nothing worse than a residential home that relies solely on agency staff (sad situation we see these days), especially a dementia home where familiarity is key.  Please could you pass on my love and thanks to the team at Blenheim who certainly made my role of power of attorney a little easier and for looking after C so extremely well.  I know C was happy at Blenheim and I know I made the right choice for her.

Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Tilford Care Home for looking after my husband in his final weeks.  I am so grateful for the care and compassion given to both of us.  A big, big thank you.

Just wanted to say that again Rosie at Gainsborough has gone out of her way to help us out with an urgent placement.  She is always so helpful when she doesn’t need to be and we know that she thinks the world of her clients. Can you please pass on the thanks of me and my team.

To all the staff who cared for the late MC.  I would like to thank them for their hard work and caring whilst M stayed at Gainsborough.  I was impressed by the caring attitude shown by the nursing staff and this was particularly apparent as M deteriorated.  She died peacefully, so thanks also to the community nurse who attended her.

What a surprise for our Diamond Wedding - could not have been better.  The work you all put in, the detail and attention, balloons, banners, flowers, the cake was really nice and very pretty.  We thank the lady who made it for us.  All the food was so good, the buffet perfect and looked good.  Jacqueline was great - we enjoyed singing and dancing, loved how you all joined in.  You all made it a real party.  P and I and our family all enjoyed it so much.  Thank you, Irene, and all the girls, very much appreciated.  Last, but not least, my sincere thanks for the way you look after P and indeed all the people in your care.  You are like a big family

With all my gratitude -on behalf of my family, we would like to thank you all for the kindness, love and care shown to our mum in the last few weeks of her life  No one could have done more.  Thank you.

The family of BB would like to express their deep gratitude for the care and compassion given to our dad in his final days and hours.  Also, the kindness and compassion given to all his family.

Thank you very much for everything you do for dad.

Thank you for taking care of our aunt so well.

Firstly, a huge thank you for all your care and concerns helping uncle B to settle into the home.  Once he had started going on his outings he couldn’t wait for the next time.  Thank you to Izzy for making it a pleasure for uncle B.  On the front of the card are bluebells; he was waiting to take the bus to Bulbarrow in April to see and smell them.  They are always beautiful. Please, if possible, could you take the bus there in his memory.  Iylona, the physio, you gave to B was greatly appreciated.  You did your very best to try to get B his leg, but sadly it wasn't to be.  We cannot thank everyone individually for all the care, compassion and love which was given and shown to uncle B.   We wish you all every success in the home as it has been extremely difficult with reviews.  As far as I was concerned, your home was run efficiently, always immaculately clean and smelling clean and fresh always.  Once again, a HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL AT THE BADBURY UNIT.

Just a very big thank you for looking after mum so well.

To all the staff at Gainsborough - a very big thank you for looking after C - with best wishes

Thank you very much to you all for the kindness and help that everyone gave to B on the 12 months she was in good care.  We all appreciated it very much.  B was very happy and settled with you all.

I want to thank you and the girls for the wonderful care you gave my mum.  In the 2 years she was with you she was treated with much care and respect, even though it must have been challenging at times.  She was kept warm, clean and well fed and comfortable and seemed happy to be there. In fact, she was convinced it was HER home!  Her last few days were handled with dignity and compassion, both for her and us. I will always be eternally grateful for being able to spend that last day with her quietly listening to her favourite music and having the chance to say what I wanted to say to her and hold her close and to say my final goodbyes.

Dear Dawn and all the incredible staff who cared for J. THANK YOU.  You made a huge difference at a difficult time.

Thank you for all the support and help you have given, shown our dear mum.  With love.

Thank you so much for all your kindness and care you gave whilst he was with you and also for helping us as a family during his last days.

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to write and thank you for everything you did for B.  She told me several times that she was very happy at Badbury.  I know she had her little ways and could be demanding and difficult, but the staff seemed to deal with her very well.  She did have good qualities too and the care she was given brought those out too.  The funeral went well - despite the most horrible weather!  The poor undertaker got completely soaked through between hearse and church door - B's last laugh!

Most impressive atmosphere and ambience home environment.  Met and observed some residents in group chatting, happy and joyful.  All interacting well with the members of staff on duty and the home manager.  ExcellentI would not mind this home at my old age.

Good afternoon to you from Greece.  I would like to make a donation to your home in memory of my much-loved aunt who you cared for at the end of her life.  Please accept my thanks to you and your staff for looking after her so well.

Thank you and also the entire team for their hard work and dedication, not only at Christmas but also throughout the year!

Thank you for looking after F in her last days.

Thank you so much for your care of J, especially what you all did for his birthday.  Thank you all so much.  I know you all work under extreme pressure

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff looking after my dad.  Your dedication, caring and friendly, honest approach helped me to be strong in his final days. He was so happy at your home, always (mostly) smiling, eating.  I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart - you are all amazing.

Thank you for all the care and looking after mum.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and your staff at the home for looking after J so wellWe feel reassured that she spent her last few weeks being looked after by very caring people.
