Let's be proud of what we do in social care, let's share the good things that happen and let's remind people to Believe in Good Care.

I just wanted to say how pleasing it was to be shown around by Irene  who was informative and calm about us just turning up unannounced.  Nothing was too much trouble and when the residents needed her or she saw some potential danger we were just left so she could attend.  Refreshing to see the customer comes first and, in our minds, she exuded what I see as the perfect care philosopy and I would be glad if my mother came to reside at your home.  Thanks for putting us at ease at this difficult time and decision making process and reaffirming our belief in the care system.

Many thanks for looking after my father.  He has now been discharged from hospital.  Best wishes and thank you.

The manager and staff go the extra mile to arrange parties and activities.  The care is second to none and I have booked a place for myself when the time comes.  You hear so much bad press about care homes - never the good.  Keep up the excellent work!

I am the husband of LP.  I and our family would like to thank you for the consideration and  help you gave us when it was L's birthday recently where we could have a little area to celebrate her birthday and for the cake you made for her.

Please have a choc to celebrate.  It would have been G's 92nd birthday today.  Best wishes and many thanks to you all.

You all do a fantastic jobThank you so  much for taking care of mum.

Thank you all for looking after me so well.

Edgehill managed the influenza outbreak well and PHE were alerted promptly.  This meant that the outbreak was brought under control quickly and therefore reducing risks to residents.  I also would like to thank you, Lisa, and your colleagues at Edgehill in always collaborating with all community and acute health services to ensure patient flow and ensuring residents are kept safe.

Words cannot express myself and my family's appreciation of your kindness to N.  No one could have cared for N better than you.

Yesterday I spoke to C at solicitors and she told me about how incredible you have been looking after J.  How you took her to her sister's funeral and how you indulged her feisty approach to life.  I know J had some mental health issues but she was still an amazing woman who, even in death, was supported by my uncle.  I write to say a genuine and sincere thank you to everyone who took time to spend with J and am certain that my uncle would feel sure she had been given the care he would have wanted.  I am truly grateful and will always think of you fondly.

Over the last 7 years my wife has been looked after very well.  The home is always clean and smelling nice.  The food is very good.  She is cared for very well and is happy here. There have been one or two issues but you would get that in any form of business.

Denise and everyone - I want to write to thank you all for the care of BF during her time with you.  The fact that she never mentioned her much loved flat of many years and so enjoyed the views from her window, along with the warmth of the home and your care, says such a lot.  I know my brother and I are so, so grateful that she ended her days with you all.  Thank you so much for giving her such a comfortable and caring ending.  Love and best wishes to you all.

To everyone who has made my time here at Edgehill amazingThank you for everything you have done for me and contributing so much to my college course.

I have had the privilege and honour to work with Rochester Care Home over the years.  I have managed the patients in this home on my caseload.  Over the years, I have had some time training the carers about the care of the patients and had periods when I was not satisfied with the standard of care as I had recommended and the way they carried it out.  At these times all  my recommendations and advice were taken on board and changes were made positively.  I must say though that this home is one of my best homes.  The carers have been very good in the care of the patients and their attitudes.  I have developed a good relationship with everyone of them.  I hope you get on well with the next nurse manager of this home because you girls are all good at your job.  Well done to you all and thank you for working with me and making my job easy.  I will miss every one of you.

Words can't express our gratitude for taking such amazing care of mum and, although she's had her ups and downs, she's always felt at home with you guys here at Lansdowne.  Thank you  again so, so much. Best wishes and lots of love.

Thank you for looking after Mrs P so well.  She is doing well at home.

The management and staff are so passionate and caring towards the residents.  The home is spotlessly clean.  The staff always go the extra mile in caring for the residents.  The residents participate in activities and those able are taken out for treats, for example, afternoon tea, picnics and theatre.  The residents are kept clean and tidy and personal accidents dealt with quickly and seamlessly.  My family are so pleased that they found Blenheim Care Home. Our mum is so happy and loves it there.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say how delighted we are with the care that my stepdad is receiving whilst in your care.  The staff are always respectable, helpful and cheerful.  I particularly like the welcome visitors are given and made to feel at home.  Its a great relief for my mum too, as she knows he is being well cared for and enjoying the activities.  Its also easily accessible for her on public transport.   Since he has been there he has received first class care in excellent surroundings.  The staff always deliver personal care in a very professional manner but still maintain a happy and cheerful atmosphere.

I would like to formally note how impressed I was by the high standard of end of life care you were able to provide for one of my patients who passed away in Oct 16. I was already well aware of the very high level of person centred care you consistently deliver to your residents and the excellent knowledge of dementia you and your staff have and how well you care for your residents.  Although everyone was in agreement that it was in R's best interests to remain in the home for end of life care, he developed very difficult to manage symptons at end of life.  Despite this, your carers were able to ensure he remained comfortable and settled in his familiar environment, looked after by familiar carers and to ensure he was not subjected to any unnecessary transfers of care.  Without your dedicated team, it is likely that he would have died in hospital and without the level of dignity and comfort that you were able to facilitate in the home.

S, T and family would like to thank you for everything that you did for G over the past 3 and half years, but especially in her last few days. My mum had to make a personal but hard decision on behalf of G.  This was as to whether she should go to hospital or to stay in your care at Edgehill.  Almost immediately the reassurances, that she had made the correct choice, were answered.  You all showed such care, empathy, respect and what we felt was a genuine love for our wonderful G.  We, as a family, feel that you really couldn't have done anymore for her, that everything you did do was carried out with genuine acts of kindness.  You also extended that care to the rest of our family.  You all supported us through something that could have been far more traumatic than it was.  Your many small acts of thoughtfulness added up to make such a difference.  Your support, especially to my parents, reassured them.  You took time to include them into all the information you had, to explain everything so that they fully understood anything that was happening at a time.  G, in the end, slipped away as peacefully and comfortably as was possible.  You all played a part in that.  Once again, thank you.

Many thanks for the care and kindess looking ater P over the past 2 years.

With many thanks for all the kindness you have shown dad during his time with you.

Just want to thank you for the care you gave over the past years and also to me whenever I came to visit.  J was a lovely man and I am going to miss him so much.

An extra thank you for all your hard work and care.

You looked after my mum for the last 2 years, kept her comfortable and safe.  You do a difficult job with good humour and compassionYour work is appreciated by residents and their families and especially by those of us who live too far away to visit frequently.

Thank you so much for allowing me to volunteer for the past few months.  I have really enjoyed getting to know the residents and staff and I have been made to feel especially welcome by all of them.  Thank you again and I have really valued the insight that volunteering at your care home has given me.

Thank you so much for looking after dad, especially in his final days and hours.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for arranging and catering for mum's 100th birthday party.  The buffet was lovely and the decorations, and was enjoyed by everyone.  Mum said she had enjoyed her party.

I would like to say thank you to all the staff for looking after my wife so well.  You do such a great job.

To all of you that looked after D over the last 3 and a half years.  Thanks.  Lots of love.

Thank you for enriching P's life through your caring attention and delicious food which she so enjoyed.  Your generosity in creating lovely cakes for all her friends to celebrate her life is much appreciatedI can't thank you enough.

I wish to thank you and all your staff for looking after my B which you all did so well.  I did like your home.  Will be in touch.

Just to say thank you for everything you and your staff have done for my mum.  Big thank you from me.

Never mind 5 star, I would give it 100 stars.  My husband could not have had better care if he was the King of England.  He was spoilt to death, nothing was too much trouble.  Absolutely fantasticSuperb staff, even down to non-nursing staff like the chef.  They looked after him so well and were very good to  me as well.  Well done Maumbury!

Thank you for looking after my granny the last few years and making her visitors, especially my auntie, so welcome.  Your care has been very appreciated.

Thank you for your care for J and his lovely Christmas presents - lovely CD and hat.  Sorry for the delay in thanking you.

A big thank you to all the staff at Crecy Care Home for looking after my very special grandmother during her (now extended respite) stay.    She's had a lovely time at the 'nice hotel' and apparently they do a damn good breakfast.  Extra special thanks to Manager, Gordon, for getting the Creature Teacher therapy owls in at such short notice, especially for my grandma.  Absolutely beautiful.  She's had a better holiday than me!

On behalf of myself and the family I would like to say a big thank you for all  your wonderful kindness and care shown to mum over the last 2 years that she lived with you. Mum had a long life of 94 years and it was only in the last few years that she needed the extra special  care that a nursing home offers.  You were to be that 'special team' all working in your own ways with your residents and families to help through some very difficult times but also giving us some fun days.  Both mum and myself really enjoyed your summer and Xmas fayres and thank you for making her birthdays so special.

Many, many thanks for your help in providing space, time and tea for my aunt's 90th birthday.  I think she really enjoyed meeting up again with her family and being the centre of attention. We are very appreciative of your cooperation.

Thank you so much for looking after my father.  You all did such a wonderful job of looking after him that he was sad to leave.  A big thank you to all your staff.
